I spent 11+ years as a pilot with a wide variety of missions. I flew for the airlines, cargo and business aviation. I genuinely love the flying — I still take to the sky for fun. But the lifestyle was tough, and honestly, I've always been someone who loves to build things. I finally decided to follow that instinct. Now I'm a B.S. Computer Science student and aspiring Cloud Architect, deploying end-to-end solutions across AWS serverless, IoT, and ML pipelines. The challenge has been exactly what I was looking for — and the flightdeck gave me the systems thinking and operational discipline to back it up.

Built an end-to-end IoT pipeline: ESP32 triggers AWS Lambda via API Gateway, processes news sentiment, stores results in DynamoDB, and outputs status to a physical LED indicator.
